1988 : Established a reserch laboratory in Charlotte, North Carolina.
1990: Established Rheon Taipei Branch Office in Taipei, Taiwan.
2001 : Established Rheon Parker Model Plant in Irvine, California.

Rheon's 11 Laboratories Perform a Variety of Development and Research

Rheon has 11 laboratories located at headquarters and other locations throughout Japan, along with three laboratories overseas offices. Well equipped with machines and instruments, Rheon engineers daily perform development and reserch at these laboratories. New product information gathered through the work at these laboratories is introduced to Rheon customers.
No.1 Laboratory

Traditional Artisan Breads required handmade production. This laboratory demonstrates production lines for authentic Artisan Breads using natural yeast and sour dough as well as sandwich bread with no additives.

Confectionery through the world, Bread, and Savory Products.

From Cornucopia® to varied Encrusting Machines, the most efficient production possibilities are introduced and demonstrated for a wide range of products. These laboratories also offer the latest information on innovative products to customers.

South Laboratory

Demonstrated here is the concept "from dough sheet to breads" using the VM System, HM Line, AD Line, EZ Table®, and Compact EZ Table®. Efficient production ideas, market information, and innovative products are offered information to customers.

HM Laboratory

Instructional classes are given for customers using Rheon's Sheet Making System. Also introduced are pre-proofed frozen products and Artisan Bread technology to customers.
 

US Steamer, EP, and Encrusting Machine Laboratory

Testing is conducted for products produced by the Automatic Steamer and Direct Panning System.
Economical and efficient ways to produce steamed products are proposed and demonstrated.

R&D Laboratory

Tested here are exceptionally large V4 System lines, including Pastry Lines. Reserch into labor-free production is conducted, and lines are tested to meet customer-requested plant environment and products before shipment.
 

Lactobacillus Culturing Laboratory

Reserch is conducted into microorganism essential for dough fermentation. Traditional bread production, using lactobacillus and natural yeast, is studied by microorganism analysis.
 

Rheon Plaza Tokyo

Tokyo District Sales Branch -Rheon Plaza Tokyo-

Rheon Plaza Tokyo is located in Higashi-Azabu, Tokyo, and serves as the base of the food and food processing machine information center. In December 2000, Rheon Plaza Tokyo started a new project to propose urban factory management, which is directly connected with the consumers. Rheon bread production system, introduces the actual urban factory production, its current and future distribution and various on-trend information. Rheon Plaza Tokyo provides the world market information room, the sample room and frequently held seminars, so that customers can easily use Rheon Plaza Tokyo as an information center. The popular bakery and cafeteria, named "Croissant", located on the first floor promotes non-additive Artisan Bread by using sour dough and natural yeast and others.


RHEON AUTOMATIC MACHINERY GmbH

Rheon's subsidiary, Rheon Automatic Machinery GmbH, located in Duesseldorf, is a 2,700 square meters research laboratory. This 100% Rheon-owned office serves Europe, Africa, and the Middle East regions. It's laboratory is equipped with the latest machines for testing to offer to customers. Test production on full-scale machines is available for bread products, pastries, variety of confectionery products, savory foods, catering foods, and more. The plant engineering department supports customers to carry out their food production plant design, and offers neccessary consultation. There are supporting sales agents in each country in Rheon Europe territory, connecting to promotional activites and progressive technical services.

Rheon U.S.A.(U.S.A. reserach laboratory) is loacated in Irvine,California equipped with the most advanced modern food processing facilities,conducting sales of Rheon's automated food processing machinery and providing customer services all across North,Central and South America.

RHEON U.S.A. NJ Office

Rheon U.S.A. NJ Office is located in Teterboro, New Jersey which is mainly customer service office for East Coast customers and has a laboratory for taking a trial of latest Rheon’s Encrusting Machines.

In 1979, Orange Bakery was established in Irvine, California, as a frozen pastry production model palnt. Through Orange Bakery's total activity, experimental production and sales of high-value pastries are carried out and demonstrated to customers around the world. Besides preparing various products for the U.S. market, Orange Bakery distributed the idea of automated production of croissants throughout the United States. The sales program includes biannual broker meetings, where innovative information based on international market research is exchanged. In addition, Orange Bakery Charlotte plant proposes pre-proof product concept by supplying them to major supermarkets and bakeries.

Rheon Parker Model Plant is located on a spacious 10,137 square meter site in Irvine, California.
The plant demonstrates the Stress Free® VM System and creates various bread products with high quality.

ORANGE BAKERY,INC. CHARLOTTE PLANT

Rheon Charlotte R&D Center intoroduces pre-proof concept involving dough fermenting and freezing, uniquely developed by Rheon, to the U.S. market. Production technology and product know-how are also provided. Computerized plant management information, from received orders management to product quality management, is also avaliable to customers.

Rheon's subsidiary, Rheon Automatic Machinery Asia Pacific Co., Ltd. located in Taipei, Taiwan serves the Asian region and Oseania with a well-equipped for customers to conduct product tests.
